Our journey begins as we board our international flight
bound for Edinburgh, Scotland. Inflight meals

Upon arrival at Edinburgh Airport, we meet our guide and
transfer to our hotel. On the way we enjoy a panoramic tour
of Edinburgh, a beautiful city, often referred to as the
"Athens of the North!" Highlights will include the Walter
Scott Monument, the elegant Prince's Street, plus much
more! After checking in, we enjoy time to rest or explore at
our leisure. This evening, we enjoy a welcoming group
dinner to kick off our journey. D

Day 3: Friday, August 20, 2027 • Edinburgh
After breakfast we depart on a tour of the highlights of
Edinburgh. We tour the Holyrood Palace, get an orientation
to the best museums and attractions, and board the Royal
Yacht Britania. We have the rest of the day free for you to
explore your favorite sights on your own, whether that is
free admission to the National Galleries, a stroll through
Edinburgh Castle, or shopping the boutiques of Mile End.
This evening, we enjoy a group dinner to kick off our
journey before we attend the Royal Edinburgh Military
Tattoo. The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo celebrates its
Scottish Heritage with the world. Music, dance, and
precision are on display with the Massed Pipes and Drums,
the Bands of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines, cultural
troupes, singers and the poignant refrain of the Lone Piper
against the stunning backdrop of Edinburgh Castle. B/D

Today we drive through the Highlands on the way to
Inverness. We visit the historic Blair Castle, the ancestral
home of the Dukes of Atholl. Here we explore the castle’s
richly decorated interiors and stroll through its beautifully
landscaped gardens, offering a glimpse into centuries of
Scottish heritage. We stop in a nearby village for lunch on
our own before continuing north through the scenic
Highlands. Upon arrival, we check into our hotel. This
evening we enjoy dinner with traditional music. B/D

This morning we visit the powerful and historic Culloden
Battlefield, the site of one of the bloodiest and most famous
battles on Scottish soil. Next is the mystical Clava Cairns,
a Bronze Age site of stone circles and passage tombs that
have also been featured in Outlander. We visit Cawdor
Castle, a traditional Scottish Castle built and inhabited by
the Cawdor family for over 600 years. This afternoon, we
have afternoon tea at the Culloden House Hotel. We return
to Inverness, where the evening is at leisure to relax and
explore the city before dinner tonight. B/D

Today, we travel to the Fort William area, one of Scotland’s
most scenic regions, set beneath the shadow of Ben Nevis,
the highest peak in the United Kingdom. We begin at Loch
Ness, where we enjoy a scenic cruise, taking in the
breathtaking surroundings while keeping an eye out for the
elusive "Nessie." After our cruise, we continue through the
stunning Highlands, enjoying spectacular views along the
way. We spend the rest of the day making our way at a
leisurely pace to Fort William, with plenty of opportunities
to appreciate Scotland’s beautiful landscapes. Upon arrival
in Fort William, we check into our hotel and have time at
leisure this evening, with the option for a short walk along
the nearby West Highland Way or to explore the town at
your own pace. B/D

Today we take a day trip to the Isle of Skye, connected to
the Scottish mainland by a scenic 1.5-mile bridge featuring
an impressive concrete arch, opened in 1995. Upon arrival,
we visit Dunvegan Castle and Gardens, the oldest
continuously inhabited castle in Scotland and home to the
Chiefs of the MacLeod Clan for over 800 years, a local
favorite. We continue to the charming village of Portree,
before heading back to Fort William. B/D

This morning, we board the Jacobite Steam Train in Fort
William for a round-trip journey through some of
Scotland’s most breathtaking landscapes, passing lochs,
rivers, and charming Highland villages. Highlights of the
route include crossing the iconic Glenfinnan Viaduct,
offering a memorable photo opportunity along the way.
After arriving in Mallaig, we have time to explore this
picturesque coastal fishing village, browse local shops, or
enjoy lunch on our own before boarding the return journey
to Fort William. Upon arrival, we enjoy some time at
leisure to relax or take in the surrounding scenery before
gathering for a group dinner this evening, a wonderful way
to conclude this unforgettable Highland experience. B/D

We then travel to Glasgow, Scotland’s largest city, for a
guided city tour highlighting its rich industrial heritage and
vibrant contemporary culture. Our sightseeing includes
Glasgow Cathedral, the historic Necropolis overlooking
the city, the grand City Chambers, colorful Merchant City
murals, and views along the River Clyde, once the heart of
Britain’s shipbuilding industry. Tonight, we have a farewell
dinner at a local restaurant. B/D

Regretfully, it's time to say " mar sin leat" and transfer to
the Glasgow Airport, for our flight home. B
