Located in Ashland, WI where we will be based out of the entire trip.
The legendary Waters Casino is the only one with windows and a beautiful view of the lake and islands.
Apostle Islands and Sea Caves!
Words cannot describe the beauty of this national shoreline. From foggy mornings to swimming bears there is so much to see on the water. Being on a motor boat, you are going to see a great variety of wildlife, trees and nature bits. Don't forget your binocs, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
Bayfield, WI
The gateway to the Apostle Islands and our port to explore them! This little lumber town turned tourist destination is filled with history and beauty. We will visit the AINL Museum and enjoy the family owned Bayfield Winery and Blue Ox Cider. Keep and eye out for brownstone, which was transported around the region and used for construction of large buildings.
Madeline Island
Did you know in the winter people drive on the ice to get to Madeline island? We will take a short ferry to the only apostle island that is inhabited. A local guide will show us around the island and the Big Bay State Park. We will have time for lunch on our own in the town and visit some specialty shops.
